The tournament was such a positive experience for my son-he has been with Master Terri for almost a year now and the development I have seen in him is far and beyond what I would have ever expected! He has grown positively in every way imaginable: self-esteem, physical prowess, social awareness, and to top it all off, he is having a fabulous time learning skills, discipline, and meeting new people. I just can't say enough about how pleased I am with the Program overall!
Master Terri and her amazing staff have a very unique way of eliciting the best in kids, encouraging them in a way that makes them feel good about themselves, getting them to learn so much about their capabilities, their bodies, and others, all rolled up and this magnificent art form that is as practical as it is beautiful to watch. The tournament was the perfect culminating experience! Watching my son perform a "kata," was so cool! And although he was a little nervous, he had a subtle confidence that continues to grow with every class that he attends with Master Terri. It was also so impressive to see children and adults of all ages so dedicated, working so hard, and having such a super time on the mat-I highly recommend the tournament to anybody, regardless of age or level of experience!
